What can I say about Acrow Host which is where I have this website hosted.  They are definately no where as big as any web hosting company, fairly new and not know.  I must say though the hosting prices are extremely affordable, the uptime is fantastic and the support is top knotch. 

Their smallest  plan starts at $2.99 a month with a free basic domain ,com, .net, .org, .info name if you purchase the plan for the year.  Another point I’d like to stress about Acrow Host is that they don’t offer you tons of plans and don’t offer you unlimited bandwith because in all reality their is NO SUCH THING AS UNLIMITED BANDWITH!!!!!!

GoDaddy is definately the king of domain registrations for many years and has now probably the biggest  web hosting company. GoDaddy offers competive hosting plans and are affordable. 

A couple of problems I have with Godaddy are the following.

• They try to sell you many products and it could be confusing during checkout. Be careful and review what your getting.
• The support is not that great
• Trying to transfer a domain name from them is a complete nightmare.

Now when it comes down to Hostgator they are my favorite.
